Questions

Website development FAQs

How long does a website project take?

A brochure site typically takes a few weeks from approved content to launch; an online store or larger custom build takes longer. We give a realistic timeline once we understand your scope.

Do you provide hosting and domains?

We build sites to run on standard hosting, including cPanel hosting. We can advise on suitable hosting and domain options, but this is confirmed with each client on a project-by-project basis.

Will I be able to edit the site myself?

Where a content management system is the right fit, yes — we include a handover walkthrough. For simpler static sites, we can agree an update arrangement instead.

Can you build an online store?

Yes. We scope e-commerce builds around your product range, payment needs and order volume, and recommend a platform that fits.

Which payment gateways can you integrate?

We integrate the UK payment gateways most businesses already use — Stripe, PayPal, Worldpay and Skrill among them — and can advise on the right fit for your order volume and product type. We can also connect other third-party APIs your business relies on, such as booking systems, CRMs or stock feeds.

Do you handle SEO?

Every site we build includes on-page SEO fundamentals — clean structure, proper headings and descriptive metadata. Broader ongoing SEO campaigns can be discussed separately.

What does ongoing support cost?

Support needs vary by project, so we agree a plan — ad hoc or retained — once your site is live and we know what you need.
